Being a captain is a big responsibility!

The captain of the vessel “Arka 33” Maxim Kuleshov met with first-year students-navigators of the Murmansk Marine Fishing College named after I.I. Mesyatsev.

During the meeting, he told how he came to the profession, what difficulties there are during voyages and that the captain’s work is difficult, requires internal consciousness and responsibility, but interesting.

“The crew is a single mechanism. It is important that all the parts work clearly and harmoniously. For this, you need knowledge. It is very important for a young specialist to ask questions and show interest in the chosen profession. There is a great need for competent specialists at sea now and they receive a decent salary,” said Maxim Kuleshov.

The students present at the meeting are first-year students studying in the specialty “Navigation”. They signed a contract for targeted training at the OPC “Arctic Fishing Industry”, created within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism”. The industrial partner of the center is the company “Antey Sever”.
