The Governor of the Murmansk Region highly appreciated the implementation of the “Professionality” project
Andrey Chibis inspected the renovated and equipped with new equipment educational classes and laboratories of the Murmansk Marine Fishery College named after I.I. Mesyatsev. The renovation took place within the framework of the federal project “Professionality”, with the participation of “Antey Sever”.
The “Professionality” project completely relaunches the college. The total budget of the project was 150 million rubles, of which 35 million rubles is the contribution of the industrial partner, OOO Antey Sever. Over the summer months, the educational institution modernized its material base – simulator training classes, laboratories and common areas – a total of 17 zones for various types of classes and work. The head of the region personally tested one of the training simulators and thanked the partners for their contribution to the educational process.
“Special thanks to our partners – the Antey company. I really hope that other companies that have been operating in the Murmansk region for a long time, whose owners and managers came from this maritime school, will also help, like the Antey company. Because today education is fundamentally important,” the head of the region noted.
This year, applicants from 19 regions of Russia came to Murmansk. All admitted cadets will soon begin to gain knowledge and skills on new educational equipment. The college is confident that such equipment stimulates and inspires students in mastering the profession of a sailor. Guaranteed employment after training is also motivating. This year, about 200 target contracts were concluded with Antey Sever.
“We believe that our participation in this project is a colossal experience for our company and for educational organizations. We understand how important it is today to attract a young specialist to work, retain him, interest him so that he becomes a professional. Successful training and our constant close cooperation with the guys, starting from the first day of training, will help them accumulate professional knowledge, skills and by the time of graduation gain serious experience in industrial and swimming practice. Our role in the project is not only participation in the training of young specialists, but also a contribution to the development of the entire fishing industry of the Murmansk region,” commented Natalia Baburkina, head of the HR department of the Antey group of companies.
