The Nakhodka Ship Repair Yard launched another crab fishing vessel built for the Antey Group

“Dmitriy Konoplev” is the second of eight-crab fishing vessel built under the state investment quota program.

The crab fishing vessel is designed for harvesting and transporting live crab in the Bering, Barents and Okhotsk seas.

The total length of the crab fishing vessel is 57.7 meters, width 12.6 meters, maximum speed 12 knots. In addition, the vessel will be able to store up to 120 tons of live crab in 9 tanks with a total volume of 640 cubic meters.

As Ivan Mikhnov, President of Antey Group, said, there are plans to build 17 more vessels, including 12 crab fishing vessels. They will also be built at the Nakhodka shipyard.

“We work with the shipyard not according to the classical scheme of a customer and a contractor, we are a real team, we jointly solve tasks and tide over difficulties,” Ivan Mikhnov said.
