Crab fishing vessel “KAPITAN” was launched at the Nakhodka ship repair yard

“Kapitan” is already the third of eight crab fishing vessels, built by of the Antey Group within the framework of the state investment quota program.

“This is the most modern project of crab fishing vessel in the world, it has no analogues. There are all conditions for the vessel to be able to conduct the most efficient fishing. The main thing is a life support system that will allow transporting 120 tons of live crab of three types with different storage temperatures,” said Alexander Gabriel, chief constructor of the Antey Group.

A series of crab fishing vessels was laid down in June 2020, the start of construction was given by Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
