Literacy Course

The Antey Group of Companies has become a partner of the All-Russian campaign “Total Dictation”. This year, an unusual platform for testing literacy was organized at the Murmansk Atomic Energy Information Center, which is located on board the legendary nuclear icebreaker “Lenin” in Murmansk. Residents and guests of the city, as well as cadets of the Murmansk Marine Fishing College named after I. I. Mesyatsev, wrote down the text from dictation. They were able not only to test their knowledge of the Russian language, but also to touch the history of the Russian fleet.

The Antey Group of Companies supports educational initiatives, which is important in the training of future specialists in maritime specialties. For the development of a modern fleet, not only technically savvy employees are needed, but also literate ones.

Residents of more than 600 settlements took part in the annual “Total Dictation” campaign in Russia. The text for the dictation “Road of Swans” was prepared by writer Marina Moskvina. It’s about ice, the Arctic, seagulls, walruses and polar bears.
