All aboard!

Special guests of the crab vessel “Murman-2” were students of the Faculty of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair of the Murmansk Industrial College.

On the captain’s bridge, second mate Kirill Sinikolodetsky showed how to operate such a vessel. On deck, Alexander Korovkin, boatswain of the crab catcher “Murman-2”, introduced the guys to the specifics of the crab fishery, and mechanic Alexander Fomin spoke about the ship’s mechanisms and life support systems.

The guys were very pleased with the excursion. It is important for future graduates not only to study the theory, but also to see with their own eyes how fishing vessels work.
