Today, on the first day of the school year, students of the Murmansk Marine Fishing College named after I.I. Mesyatsev were congratulated by representatives of the company “Antey Sever”.

Ilya Nikanorov, Deputy General Director for Maritime Safety of “Antey Sever”, spoke with parting words at the ceremonial assembly:

“Today is a wonderful day in your life. You did absolutely the right thing. You made the right choice by deciding to study maritime professions. This educational institution has a long and rich history. Studying here is a great honor. At the same time, it is a great responsibility. Responsibility for the worthy continuation of the maritime traditions of Murmansk and the North. Take care of your dream, do not let anyone doubt it. Study well, do not spare yourself, get the necessary knowledge. We really need good sailors, we are waiting for you all in our fleet. As you know, new ships are being built in Russia, the fleet is being modernized. There is a shortage of young, energetic, smart guys. Continue the history of Murmansk with dignity, carry the banner of this educational institution. In a nautical way, I wish you a fair wind, good luck and seven feet under the keel.”
