The second trio of crab vessels has been launched!

The vessel “Natalia’s Bay” was launched from the slipways of the Nakhodka shipyard. This is the sixth vessel within the framework of the order of the Antey Group; eight vessels are being built at once within the first stage of the state program “keel quotas”.

This year, the NSRZ launched three vessels, the first three were launched in 2022. Now these vessels are undergoing commissioning and preparation for mooring and sea trials. According to the chief designer of the Antey Group, Alexander Gabriel, there are no analogues to the CCa5712LS project in the world today.

“The Nakhodka Shipyard is building crab catchers for the first time, especially for such a complex project. The launch of the sixth vessel is a high indicator of the professionalism of all NSRZ employees. Here they modernized production facilities, purchased new equipment, built dormitories for employees, made repairs in workshops – all this indicates a serious approach to the construction of ships,” said Alexander Gabriel.

The first three series of crab fishermen will go fishing in the Bering, Barents and Okhotsk seas in 2024. Each vessel will be able to store up to 120 tons of live crab in 9 RSW tanks with a total volume of 680 cubic meters. The total investment in the construction of eight crab fishing vessels today is 16 billion rubles.

A series of eight crab catchers commissioned by Antey Group was solemnly laid down in June 2020. The start of construction was given by Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
