Antey supports orienteering competitions

The Vladivostok Orienteering Cup was held on Russky Island in Vladivostok. Almost 150 people aged 6 to 65 took part in the competition.

The development of mass sports and the involvement of young people in a healthy lifestyle is one of the focal point of the social policy of the Antey Group. For several years, Antey has been supporting athletes not only in Vladivostok, but also in other regions of the Far East. The support is important for the Orienteering Federation, first of all, to prepare athletes for the major regional and federal competitions.

Competitions in Vladivostok were held in the format of multi-stage cross-country rate. The distance of the route was up to 6 kilometers.

‘Every year we involve children and teenagers in orienteering. Ten years ago, even seventh-graders did not take part in the competition, now among the athletes there are first-graders,‘ said Mikhail Yurchenko, the chief judge of the competition.
